BioThis is the blog of First United Methodist Church in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
Rock Springs is a fascinating, gorgeous community near the spectacular Flaming Gorge and on the way to Yellowstone National Park. Known as the town where 56 languages are spoken, we celebrate our diversity. That this celebration policy followed a massacre of Chinese miners in 1885 shows that we do know how to repent hereabouts!
I am the new (as of 1 July 2006) pastor, Mary Ann Dimand. We're located at 1515 Edgar Street, Rock Springs Wyoming 82901, and you can find us via Mapquest. Rock Springs is pretty exciting to drive around-- it's constructed like multi-dimensional interlocking Nautilus shells, so the Rock Springs beginning driver gets continual delightful surprised in terms of where one emerges. Finding FUMC is quite easy, however. Once you get there, our sanctuary is both lovely and functional, with great acoustics and a fine amplification system.

Sunday worship is at 10:30.
